Inspired by the centennial of the end of World War I and the myriad ways the war shared my hometown, Seattle, I curated an exhibit, Washington on the Western Front: At Home and Over There, for the University of Washington Libraries in 2016. The war, and especially the role of women, continues to fascinate me.
